Welcome Home Foundation wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. The Welcome Home Foundation is a multi project organization focused on lavishly loving children and youth who are connected to foster and kinship care. WHO WE ARE
Our Roots
The Welcome Home Foundation was founded in 2017 to offer resources and hope for children and youth in foster care. In 2021, the WHF Board of Directors and a core group of volunteers launched a new effort in South Carolina to greatly change the current environment for children and teens awaiting placement in foster/kinship care.
WAYS WE HELP
EMERGENCY FOSTER CARE
Providing a safe and comforting place for children/youth who need overnight care after removal from their homes
DAY TIME HOUSE
Providing a safe & homelike environment for children/youth during the day while awaiting placement with a foster family
LONG TERM SUPPORT
Partnering with DSS and families to support a long term positive transition for children and youth in foster care
